The Company enters
the world of car colour:
introduction of Sprint
Evolution color system,
high performance tinting
machine comprising
over 85,000 formulae
and 15,000 cards.
2016
ICR launches Sprint
Coatings and the Sprint
Mix tinting machine,
solutions suitable for the
general industry and for
industrial bodywork.
2008
ICR acquires 30,000
mq of factory space in
Lodi meant specifically
for the production of
paints.
2011
ICR has acquired
ProWorx, leader in
car refinish fillers in
the United Kingdom.
The transaction allows
this important country
to be better served
and to expand the
offer of car repair
products dedicated
to the Anglo-Saxon
market. The international
expansion is continuing
in the same fashion after
being undertaken in the
perspective of having a
direct presence in the
markets. It earlier led to
the opening of ICR Sprint
Inc., headquartered in
Fall River, MA (USA), in
2017.

Innovation continues:

UHS transparent paints
which, thanks to the
evolved ICR technology,
satisfy the new needs of

THE VALUES
AMBIENT
Our products are studied by the ICR R&D
laboratory in order to reduce emissions and
environmental impact.
A lower imprint on the ecosystem is obtained
thanks to the reduction of the organic solvents
present in the compositions, replaced almost 100%
by water, and the use of degradable polymers
coming from plant chemistry. Moreover, we
have reduced the hazard from paint residues by
eliminating from our products all
heavy metal residues and non-degradable
polymers.
ENERGY SAVING
We know how much energy and application time
saving are important factors for our customers. This
is why the Coatings line takes these requirements
into account: for some applications it is possible
to use 2 coats instead of 3 and most of our
industrial paints can be applied manually in “One
Coat” (e.g. “One Coat” in water compared to the
traditional three coats with solvent products).
With our range, it is not only possible to use a
smaller quantity of products and have less waste
with equal paint performance: we also supply
products that harden at low temperatures, while
at the same time maintaining the same properties
(also at just 50 C°). The result is a significant
reduction of labour costs for application and a
considerable saving of energy and CO2 in the air
thanks to reduced secondary emissions.

time. This is our commitment. Our customers can
depend on a paints production process based
on maximum quality of the raw materials and
a standard supply, that is increasingly constant
and without variations over time. Hence high
application performance and always reliable.
CONSULTANCY IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF PLANTS
Thanks to the great deal of knowledge of painting
systems present on the market, our staff studies
the correct paint/painting process combination
together with the customer. We collaborate
with companies in their painting systems,
recommending the best tailor-made solutions on the
basis of the economic variables and the versatility
of the system for different types of processes.
While, for retailers who need a ready-to-use
product, we supply the high performance SPRINT
MIX polyvalent colour dosing system.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Our R&D laboratory is entirely dedicated to
the characterisation of the paint product and
can rely on the know how of a specialist
highly experienced technical team. Leading
edge instrumentation is used for the research
of new products as well as for the qualitative
charactetrisation.
AFTER-SALES ASSISTANCE
Our team ensures a very high quality after-sales
assistance. Our technicians act
in the paint production process, analysing the
features of the plant as a whole, from pre-treatment
to application of the product, in order to optimise
the result depending on the paint product selected.

The direct adhesion to polyolefins is guaranteed only after flame texturing and appropriate primer.
Drawing on our laboratory experience, we indicate direct adhesion on plastics, but in any case a preliminary adhesion test is always recommended in view of the

We indicate direct adhesion on metal, meaning all ferrous (stainless steel) and non-ferrous (zinc, aluminum, chrome, including alloys such as zama, brass, copper,
etc.) metals, galvanic supports.
