Machine to Machine (M2M)
Technologies that allow both wireless and wired systems to
communicate with other devices of the same ability.[1][2] M2M
uses a device (such as a sensor or meter) to capture an event
(such as temperature, inventory level, etc.), which is relayed
through a network (wireless, wired or hybrid) to an application
(software program), that translates the captured event into
meaningful information (for example, items need to be
restocked).[3] Such communication was originally accomplished by
having a remote network of machines relay information back to a
central hub for analysis, which would then be rerouted into a
system like a personal computer

- 4. It is now ready in our daily life… Smart Home That''s a lot of M2M product which you can easily find in market. For example smart home product which can be easily fine in Google. It consists a set of sensor (smoke, humidity, door magnetic sensor etc.), install in different location of home. It sense the environment and provide your home information to security company. When accident happen (robber break in, fire etc), it raise alert to your mobile and inform your security company.
- 5. The situation today.. Goverment I want monitor pollution level to control image of the city. Energy Company I want reduce man power for metering. Therefor, i install digital meter for automatic meter reading Auto Heater I like my heater swtich on on 8pm, because i'm always leave office by 7:30pm
