The Iroquois lived in what is now eastern New York, northeast Ohio, southern Ontario, and Pennsylvania. They lived in longhouses made of curved wood with bark siding and roofs. Women wore ankle-length skirts and vests decorated with dyed porcupine quills, while men wore knee-length skirts and leggings. They used resources like corn, wood, water, fruits, animals, elm bark, and nuts in many ways to survive.
