This is my before and after image manipulation for my digipack. I edited my
photo using photo-shop and as you can see the first image lacked colour, was
dull and my performers features were not very prominent. In the second photo
the quality is better, the brightness is bigger and I have adjusted the sharpness
on the image so that my photo shows off my performers features especially her
red lips.
• To begin with I imported my photo into adobe Photoshop as a
JPEG, I then added an extra layer onto my image so that it
was easier to edit. I then clicked on the photo shop settings
found on the left hand side and began adjusting the
brightness, composure and the sharpness. I am extremely
happy with the quality and look of my final image.
This is my before and after image manipulation for my digipack. I edited my photo using photo-shop and
the first thing I did was to reduce the blur on the image as in the original photo it is not high quality. I
then went on to change the contrast of the image so it did not look as dull / monochrome. To finish of
the editing process I changed the sharpness so that her individual features stood out such as her hair
strands as I think this made the image look more professional.
• I have edited all my video footage using adobe premier pro,
the editing processes I have carried out include slowing down
my clips to 50 shots per second, this has helped my music
video footage look more professional and made my
performing shots look more pleasing to the eye. Additionally I
have also applied effects such as “warp” to some of my clips,
this has helped maintain my clips and make them stable as
some of the shots I filmed were hand held meaning they
were not the highest of quality.
