Improvements and decisions
made during production
As you can see the stereo track
titled “footsteps” was added to
the multi-track as in our previous
draft we had four seconds to add
effects to give the audience “the
feel” of the atmosphere of the
scene
I had added another stereo track
with a second copy of the sound
effects of footsteps. The difference
with this track is that the volume of
the audio is slightly higher, to give
the impression that the character is
coming closer.
To improve the multi-track
their is 2-4 seconds of
sound that is not needed.
The 2-4 seconds of sound
was cut off so the sound
effect of pianos creates a
shock as if the character 1
has caught character 2.
In the last stereo track
of the presenter
announcing the date of
the short film I decided
to change the frequency
of sound...
To change the pitch of the
voice to give the effect of
a fade in.
Once the effect was added. I
decided to use the envelope tool
to lower the amplitude of the
track because the audio sounded
to high and distorted
