the clips to the rhythm of the beat make the whole appeal of the video more aesthetically pleasing for

IN WHATWAYS DOESYOUR MEDIA PRODUCT
USE FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF A MUSIC
VIDEO AND ANCILLARIES?
 A main focus was the group of friends hanging out spending time together but
also making the film fit with the beat and matching some of the lyrics up with the
shots in the editing process. This can be seen through the walking out the door
and drinking in the pub/ pool hall. These follows the conventions of the lyrics and
music fitting with the visuals.
 Another convention which I used was the genre exists. This is where I used clips of
the band from performances which I shot when I went to their concert in London.
This also fulfilled the convention of artists being in the video. However, this is
more developing the forms and conventions rather than using them.
 To release the product I usedYouTube and Vimeo for the video and for the
ancillaries I used wix.com to create a website and displayed all them including the
digipak on blogger.
IN WHATWAYS DOESYOUR MEDIA PRODUCT
DEVELOP FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF A
MUSICVIDEO AND ANCILLARIES?
 As spoke of in the previous slide, I used shots of the band which follows the
conventions of the genre and adds the artist aspect into the video, however, I
have developed the aspect if this by filming the band at their concert by the
perspective of the shots is from the crowd rather than on the stage of from the
back of the concert hall looking over the crowd. I believed that gives it more of a
friendly feel to the viewers of the video and that it gives them the feeling they are
there also.
IN WHATWAYS DOESYOUR MEDIA PRODUCT
CHALLENGE FORMS AND CONVENTIONS OF A
MUSICVIDEO AND ANCILLARIES?
 One of the conventions I didn’t use was voyeurism, this is because even though it
could have been incorporated into the music video as t follows the rock and roll
lifestyle, the main focus of the video was friends hanging out and spending time
as a group and not sexual, therefore we challenged the forms and conventions.
