WHAT ARE WASTE?
 Waste are unwanted or unusable materials. These
are any substance which are discarded after
primary use or is worthless, defective and no use.
Waste may be organic or inorganic.
INORGANIC WASTE
 It is a type of waste that does not contain organic
compounds. This waste is generally very difficult to
decompose by microorganisms. Glass, Aluminium
cans, and metals are some examples of inorganic
waste.

 A well established and supported waste policy is of
crucial importance in waste management. Such as –
Environment protection act, 1986
Hazardous waste rule , 1989
Municipal solid waste rule , 2000
Solid waste management , 2016
RECOMMENDATION
 The improvement of people and private sector through
NGOs could improve the efficiency of waste
management.
 Public awareness should be created especially at
primary level.
 Moreover house to house collecting solid waste
should be mandatory.
