- 2. I chose tobase my main article on the artist Grimes. I chose to base my front cover image on this photo because it represents the artist as conflicted and being under pressure. I will use this representation for the main topic to talk about in my main article. I chose similar clothing and makeup in my photo shoot because it fits with the genre of music my magazine focuses on. However I chose for eye contact between the models and the camera, because this is a convention of a front cover image, so the reader relates to the model. Moreover, I chose a medium shot because this is also a convention of a magazine front cover image.
