Sung to tune of twinkle, twinkle little Star
Now it’s time to plant a seed
Water, sun and soil we need
First some roots and then a stem
Then some leaves out on a limb
Grow, tree, grow-that’s what you do
Come; climb up on a branch or two
2. Presentation
Meeting 1: Present a poem entitled “A plant “
Questions:
1. What sleeps in the heart of a seed?
2. What does the sun tell the little plant?
3. What does the rain tell the little plant?
4. What happens to the little plant?
Work period 1 (Small Group)
 Give them a picture coming from the poem.
 Cut out the pictures
 Arrange them in the correct order and paste it in a bond paper
 Color the pictures.
Meeting 2:
Bring the class to their garden
Ask:
1. What are the common plants did you see?
2. How many mango trees did you see?
Mahogany?Eggplant?petchay?
 Let them count. Tell what are the plant needs in order to grow.
 Let Say: A_____is a common plant
An_____is a common plant.

Skill: Molding Different Figure (Plants, fruits, leaves, flowers)
Materials:
 Modeling clay
 Molder- hulmahan
 Models of figures to be formed
Instruction:
 Pupils are encouraged to join a group of classmates
 Each group will select a specific figure that they will form.
 Get the needed materials from the wok center
 Mould a plant, a fruit, a leaf or a flower
 Exhibit the finished work
Describe the figure-its size, shape and color.
4. Application
Name the plants.
Color all the common plants
Value Integration: How we are going to take good care of our plants?
IV- Evaluation
Look at the pictures.
Which is big? Which is small?
Cut-out and paste each picture on the right box.
V- Assignment:
Collectpictures of fruits/flowers of commonplants. Paste the picture in the
bond paper.
