- 2. In this tutorial we are going to explore how to create and communicate with announcements.
- 3. Ensure Edit Mode is ON.
- 4. Check you are on the Announcements page.
- 6. Enter a Subject and Message for your announcement.
- 7. By default, announcements are not date restricted but you can change that. You can also email a copy of the announcement immediately. This will go to all members of the module (staff and students). If you only want to email the announcement to your students, don’t select the email option. Instead, copy the message and send via the Send Email tool in the Control Panel.
- 8. You can also include a Module Link with your announcement. Select Browse to choose the link location. The Module Link will appear at the bottom of the announcement message.
- 9. Check your message and then select Submit.
- 10. A purple Success receipt will appear if your announcement was posted.
- 11. Switch Edit Mode OFF to view the announcement as a student.
- 12. This is how the emailed announcement appears in Office365.
