Keeping a swatch book
- 1. KEEPING A SWATCHBOOK Whether you are a Beginner or Advanced Copic User, You will want to keep a “Swatch Book”. When learning or trying new techniques you will get different results depending on your paper, the stamping inks, and using your own color combos. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF LEARNING ABOUT COPIC MARKERS. Keep Track of what has worked for you. We have made a Copic Swatch Sweet which you will find in the Resources. Please print this out for your own personal use. You can reprint it as many times as you like. Keep your swatch sheets in your Copic Binder for future reference. Things to add to your swatch Page; What Brand of Paper did you use and what color? What Brand of Ink and What color did you use? What Stamp did you use? What Copic Markers did you use. On The Bottom Panel reserve this section for applying a swatch of the marker color you used, along with the Color Number. What technique did you use? What color did you apply first, second, third?
