  “ Stop!” saidPorky Pig. “Who’s the King of the Mountain? Freddy shook with fear. “ You are O Pig.”

  So Porky wentdown the mountain singing, “I’m the King of the Mountain.”

  “ Stop!” saidHarry the horse . “Who’s the King of the Mountain?” Porky shook with fear. “You are, O Horse.”

  So Harry wentdown the road singing, “I’m the King of the Mountain.”

  “ Stop!” Saida voice in Harry’s ear. Harry stopped. He looked this way and that.

  “ There isno one here,” he cried. “It must be a ghost.” ”Who’s the King of the Mountain?” said the voice. Harry shook with fear. “You are, O Ghost.”

  Freddy hopped outof Harry’s ear, down his back, down his tail and on to the ground.

  Then Freddie wentdown the road singing, “I’m the King of the Mountain.”
