LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 To revise family members.
 To practice listening and reading macro-skills by listening to a story and solving
activities of comprehension.
WARM UP
 The teacher will begin the class by asking the students questions
such as: “do you like stories?”, “do you know this one that we are
going to listen to”, “What do you imagine it is going to be about?”
FIRST ACTIVIY:
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.
Macro-skills: Listening.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: Video: “My mom” by Anthony Browne.
DEVELOPMENT
 The teacher will show the students a video of s story called “My
mom” by Anthony Browne. She will be stopping the video in order to
make sure that all of them understand.
SECOND ACTIVIY:
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading.
Timing: 5 minutes.
Materials: Piece of paper.
DEVELOPMENT:
 After watching the story, Students will have to match the word with
the corresponding pictures so as to activate lexis learnt during the
story.
THIRD ACTIVIY:
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading.
Timing: 5 minutes.
Materials: Piece of paper.
 Students will have to circle the correct word to form the sentence paying
attention to the meaning of adjectives.
FOURTH ACTIVIY:
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading and writing.
Timing: 15 minutes
Materials: Piece of paper.
 Students will have to complete the chart with statements about what
the story says, about their own mother and what they have in
common.
FIFHT ACTIVIY:
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Reading and writing.
Timing: 15 minutes
Materials: Piece of paper.
 Students will have to draw their mom and write sentences about her.
 Finally, all the drawing will be paste on a poster
