Drill: Quick Write  (AVID strategy ) Using complete sentences, take about 2 minutes to: Describe the five most important rules to keep the school building safe and orderly for learning.
Monday, August 30, 2010 Objective: Students will analyze Pikesville High School’s “Behavior Management Plan”  in order to create a safe and orderly environment at PHS.
Jigsaw  (an AVID strategy) Each member of the group has been assigned a number that corresponds to a part of the text that is to be read, shared, and mastered.  Each member is responsible for completing one part of the reading assignment and taking notes using the provided graphic organizer.  (3 minutes) After the allotted time, and at the teacher’s direction, you will then share information, teaching your part of the reading assignment to the other members your group.  You are to fill in this newly shared information onto your own graphic organizers. (10 minutes)
