Lifelong empowers people living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS and/or other chronic conditions to lead
healthier lives. Lifelong focuses its services on those at greatest risk of infection, homelessness,
poverty, poor nutrition, and inadequate care in order to prevent new generations of HIV, improve access
to care, health outcomes and reduce costs. In recent years, recognizing HIV as a chronic illness, Lifelong
has extended its mission to include serving others with other complex needs.

coordinated emergency housing resources
for 57 clients; and worked with 502 clients
living in emergency, transitional or permanent

Evergreen Insurance Service Program (EHIP)
YOU HELPED US!
•Assured that 2,785 HIV+ individuals had health care
insurance coverage. EHIP enrollment continues to
grow, bringing more people with HIV/AIDS to care and
treatment.
•Implemented some infrastructure improvements to
help meet an increase in demand for insurance
services.

YOU HELPED US!
•Raised $490,000 along, increase HIV/AIDS
awareness, and recruit 4,000 walkers at Seattle AIDS
Walk.
•Raised more than $170,000 from 130 restaurants
and thousands of diners from Dining Out for Life
•Raised $119,000 at our Annual Benefit Breakfast
•Brought hundreds of clients together to share a meal
at Mama’s Dish, our monthly community meal.
•Collected 11 tons (21,647 lbs.) of food through our
Care to Shop food drive outside local grocery stores.
•Honored 1,300 people who volunteer for Lifelong
every year. Our volunteers outnumber staff 16:1!
