SN:3.The title of the story
Ans.: ‘Little Girls Wiser than Men’ is the title of the
story by Leo Tolstoy. The story describes how the
two little girls play near the puddle Malasha
splashed in the water and Akulka’s frock stained.
This incidence led to fight between the mothers,
then women, then men of the street. The old
grandmother tried to persuade them but in vain.
After a little while. Akulka wiped the mud off her
frock and began to play with Malasha. They made a
stream form the puddle and ran and play joyfully.
Having seen them playing grandmother remarked ‘
Fear God, you guys, dragged yourself into a fight
because of these girls, and they have long time ago
forgotten everything – again are in love together,
blessed, playing. They are wiser than you!’

SN:4. Moral of the story
Ans.: ‘Fear God, you guys, dragged yourself into
a fight because of these girls, and they have
long time ago forgotten everything – again are
in love together, blessed, playing. They are
wiser than you!’
“Unless ye become as little children, ye shall not
enter into the Kingdom of God”.
These two sentences spoken by the
grandmother are the core ideas of the writer
Leo Tolstoy himself.
The moral is fighting on trivial matters is sin, we
should live little children who easily forget
their quarrels and love again with each other.
