- 2. “ Yay, we'rebigger now, Rosemary!” Now that she was older it'd become clear that Daisy had her father's nose, but her mother's eyes and mouth.
- 3. Rosemary on theother hand had inherited Chrysanthemum's nose and mouth, but Ocean's eyes.
- 4. It wasn't justthe twins' birthday, though. Fir had become a toddler, so far with similar features to Rosemary.
- 5. Unfortunately the toysscattered in the backyard would go unused. As was legacy tradition, the kids of generation four would probably spend their childhood and teenhood skilling, and their college years, adulthood, and elderhood wondering what to do with themselves. Next generation would maybe be the lucky ones who wouldn't have that problem.
- 6. Anyway, Fir didn'tmind skilling, because for him it was also play. But he had to be pulled from it ever now and then to be taught how to talk and walk. Maybe next generation the creator would stop teaching them such useless skills that they learn anyway on their 7 th birthday.
- 7. And skills theynever finish learning without smart milk till their 7 th birthday.
- 8. Unfortunately, the oneother person skilling their buts off had just gotten fired from a chance card. My bad.
- 9. He was deeplydevestated, though he got the job back at a lower level.
- 10. Meanwhile, toddler skillingmania was coming to a close as Fir learned the second and last skill he'd ever learn as a toddler; how to walk.
- 11. Meanwhile, Rosemary wasbusy painting. “ Mommy said I could invest the money I make off of these in stocks.” While Chrysi tried to make sure the fourth generation heiress (sorry Fir, girls tend to win the polls) would be the third heiress in a row to roll fortune.
- 12. Daisy was thankfullyworking on the harmless skill of cooking, and as a kid shouldn't be cooking Chrysi couldn't make Rosemary open and run a bakery.
- 13. Chrysi did manageto promote Cactus to a criminal mastermind, though, making two permaplat, maxed skills adults in the house.
- 14. And with theyoungest out of diapers and semi-self-sufficient the two lawbreakers wouldn't have to do much care-taking for the kids.
- 15. Well, besides todrill them in military exercises. Even though neither was ever in the military.
- 16. After that theydecided to try to get the kids into private school.

- 46. “ Hey, Puddinroy!”she glanced a couple minutes later to see Puddinroy appear out of thin air. “Sorry I let you die- though in my defense you should've realized it was a cowplant.” “ Well, where will I stay?” Puddinroy replied. “I can't stay with Aria, she'll kill me! Again!” “ Oh, I know just the place...” she smiled.

- 62. “ Yep,” Spencerlifted Hummingbird onto his lap. “ But wait, wouldn't that mean there's another Tosha around here?” Hummingbird asked.

It seemed weird that she hadn't invited over the rest of his family, and that it had been her, and not Otieno, inviting him. “ Have you heard of your family's legacy?” “ Yeah, what about it?”

Chrysi groaned. “It's a good thing that junk outside is worth something, then.”

- 77. “ Well, we'reall married now. I have a daughter, Chickadee, and Chrysanthemum has three kids, Rosemary, Daisy, and Fir...” Poplar continued, going through all the Lynn and Flynn kids that had been born in River Cove.
- 78. “ Who doyou think would be the best heir or heiress, Chrysanthemum?” Ani turned the conversation over to her daughter.
- 79. “ I don'tknow, they're still so young, it's hard to think of any of them as being a heir or heiress. It's not up to us anyway,” Chrysi replied.

- 87. “ Anyway, thatwas just in college, and now Natalie is gone. I don't think she'll be any trouble.”
- 88. “ Okay, butbe careful. For all we know Nathan had kids, and his descendents followed you over here,” Pao told them.
- 89. “ We'll befine, Mom,” Chrysi replied.
- 90. “ Opal, it'stime I talked to you about the family business,” Gina cornered her daughter. “ By that do you mean getting one of the blue-skinned Lynns over here?” Opal looked up at her mom, an eyebrow raised.
- 91. “ Exactly.” “I don't get why you haven't done it already. You could've done it while they were asleep.”
- 92. “ In thedorm? No, I didn't have the proper equipment for what I needed to do, and besides...” “ Well if you hadn't influenced Hummingbird to kiss Ocean you could've invited her over for dinner while she was pregnant and drugged her, later telling her she'd fallen asleep. Because she'd be pregnant she wouldn't question that she'd fallen asleep.”
- 93. “ Don't interruptme. One day wouldn't have been enough, and drugging her multiple times and she might get suspicious. So I had to take the chance I'd get caught and influence Hummingbird. Also...” “ Well why didn't you do it at the last minute so she'd never have reconciled with Ocean?”
- 94. “ I saiddon't interrupt me! The timing on that was a mistake on my part, I'll admit. And it was because of Otieno they reconciled. Also...” “ I'd have killed Otieno.”
- 95. “ I toldyou to be quiet! Now how do you know so much about my attempts?” “ Jaiden told me.”
- 96. “ Now ifyou're so smart, what's your plan?” “ My plan is simple, which is why it'll work.”
- 97. “ Well, theheir or heiress will feel like they have to go back to their old home, and I frankly don't want this to be the legacy house. I like my cheats. So I'd go after a spare, maybe even a spare of a spare if they have blue skin.”
- 98. “ I'll becomea good witch so I can use a couple befriending spells to help me out. If anyone gets in my way, I'll kill them. Our family ought to have enough power after four generations to kill with our minds alone.”

What if you can't kill with your mind alone?” “ I'll find a way to, I'll become one in secret, and I'll kill them with poison or fire or something. Face it, my plan's gonna work.”
