Attention Makers
Keep our Makerspace Safe!
Prepare!
If you’re not sure how to do something, ask.
Don’t use a tool unless you’ve had training on its safe use.
Think through the whole job so you know what you need to finish the
work.
Use Equipment Properly!
Use equipment only in the way it was meant to be used.
If anything breaks, report it to Mrs. Quinn or Mrs. Daley immediately.
Turn electrical items off before walking away.
Don’t remove items from the makerspace.
Learn & Explore!
Ask someone something.
Share something with someone.
Don’t panic.
Persevere!
It’s okay to fail.
Go ahead, get stuck.
Learn something from your mistakes.
Clean Up!
Return all materials to their proper place.
Label your work-in-progress with your name.
Discard or recycle when appropriate.
Shut off electrical items, and plug in the chargers.
