Problems Before ImplementingERP in
Maruti Suzuki
• Lack of proper control over the system
• Lack of proper information
• No real time access to information
• Lack of time management because of no
proper coordination
Hyperion
• Hyperionwas the software which was
developed by Oracle and was used to
maintain financial transactions of the
company.
• This was a huge success as it was easily
integrated with the system and followed
the standard accounting principles.
• This software proved to be a great
success in the financial field of Maruti
Suzuki.
10.
Oracle Purchasing
•This was implemented by Maruti to
manage the procurement of capital
goods, services, and indirect
consumables.
• This process helped in centralizing the
data, unlike the previous method where
excel was used to maintain records and
could not be accessed by everyone.
• This helps in saving time as one
department may not have to approach
other departments and can directly have
the data required.
11.
Oracle Human Resources
• This software controlled various aspects of HR like
recruitment, payroll, compensation management,
etc.
• The details of each and every employee are stored in
the data base, from where the HR staff could access
the complete work history and profile.
• This ensured that the employees received proper
training and in case of vacancy which employee had
to be promoted.
• This software allowed the staff of HR to focus on
performance assessment and staff development.
12.
Customer Interaction System
• Also known as the C.I.S, this facilitates
the recording of the customer data
• The data is collected by the agent and
processed into the system
• The daily inquiries are fed into the system
and appointments with the customers are
fixed
13.
Dealer Management System
• Now, the data that is collected by various
dealers is processed in the D.M.S.
• DMS keeps a record of the enquiry, until
and unless the enquiry is not converted or
closed.
• For a company which is oriented towards
customer satisfaction, DMS is a major
tool.

necessary to keep your customers intact.
