  HESTER PRYNNE » HesterPrynne is the central character of the novel The Scarlet Letter. » Hester is a truly tragic heroine. » Hester is totally unlike the convention heroine of the novel of the time. » She is very complex figure and hence she is fascinating. » Hester is married to Roger Chilling worth and has affair’s with Arthur Dimmesdale and from that affairs she has a daughter namely Pearl.

She is grew very close to an old maid “Dharati” in whom she saw her estranged mother.  Durvasa had merciful temperament and Kunti was instructed the responsibility to look after the eccentric sage, which she dutifully fulfilled.
