  Term July 1st 2012– June 30th 2013 (The Czech MC works full time. Part-time jobs are not supported). The standard Transition happens from last week of May until last week of June. Transition dates might still vary and will be defined concretely once the MC selected. The new elected MC is strongly encouraged to be present at SprinCo (a planning conference) that takes place on 12 - 15th April 2012. You will be encouraged to apply as faci, and the fee and part of transportation will be covered.

  Hours A minimum of8 working hours on working days (Monday to Friday). Weekends are free except for events (International and National Conferences, Presidents and Functional Meetings, etc.) Salary Approximately 270 Euros per month (approximately 6500 Czech crowns). Menu in the students canteen is around 40 CZK - where you have soup, 2nd meal and tea. Salary is enough for good living conditions and savings. You will also receive corporate mobile phone. Travel LC visits and national conferences travel costs are reimbursed. The local transportation - a monthly ticket (for subway) is around 260 CK for students and paid from your salary.

  Accommodation The MC livestogether in one MC flat,. Next MC might change the MC flat. The accommodation is free of cost. During transition accommodation will be covered for the MC elect. MC Office Comfortable working conditions with a personal desk, chair, LAN & 24 hour internet connection. The MC office is 5 minutes walk from the metro station & city center. The team was expected to be at the office from 10 am this year. Next years team might have a different working style (i.e., being more flexible or rigid on the start time) Weekends are technically free, but you will have to decide how to best arrange your time, which might require working on the weekend. Apart from the regular national holidays, weekends & the Christmas and Easter break, this year we were allowed to take 21 working days off.

  Personal Financing: The salary,as mentioned before, is enough to live on (aprox.6500 CZK) Depending on your lifestyle, it is even possible to save. Internationals will need to pay for the flight ticket to Czech Republic, and you will need some money initially during the transition month. The accommodation costs and the transport to national conferences is taken care of by the MC. International conference costs (IC and Expro) are also covered by the MC. Depending on the budget and the revenues for the MC 13.14, the MCP will decide the amount of members going at IC. Last year, MC OGX, GCDPic, GIPic and TM + OD were present in Russia. EuroExpro in Turkey is covered for all the MC members.

  Language: So suprise, suprise:the language spoken everywhere is Czech, with some variations of Slovak, which will all sound the same to you anyway =) However, the language is not a barrier in Czech Republic. Since Prague is a relatively large and multi-cultural city with a heavy influx of tourists. Czech MC has a culture of taking internationals onto the MC. Due to this reason, everyone on the MC is aware of, and open to, communication in English. Conferences, meetings and visits are all held in English. All the members of AIESEC in the Czech Republic are accustomed to having an international MC member around, which makes it relatively easier for the international to adapt.
