  WHAT IS BAUER? •Bauer was first launched in 1895 as a media group, this group were founded in Hamburg and are now operating in nineteen countries. • The company has become massive due to the lots of ways they sell things. They’ve brought out magazines (over 600), radios (50), and television (400) allowing them to access the the wider audience.
• 3.
  WHO WORKS THERE? •Bauer media group is a family business. Yvonne Bauer studied German and worked as a trainee for a book publisher. She then followed in her fathers footsteps (Heinz) in 2010. Today she runs this business with Veit Dengler (CEO), Jörg Hausendorf (Managing director) and Harald Jessen (CFO) along side her.

  MAGAZINES AT BAUER? •Bauer are the biggest magazine publishers of today, with over 600 copies. • The very first magazine that Bauer did was called the ‘Angling times’ about fishing in 1953 and shortly after they launched the MCN ‘Motor cycling news’ closely behind.
