  There are manydifferent media institutions that we could distribute or product. However, I believe that the best company is Film4 productions. Film4 is a British company who focus on producing new movies. As Film4 show new and upcoming talent, I believe that our movie will be suitable to be distributed by Film4 as it is a British company and our movie is only for a British audience. Another reason as to why I think Film4 would be best fit for our movie is because most of the films distribute are British made, independent films with low funding. Our film is not a heavily funded film as it is more like an independent film which would be shown locally to the younger adult audience. Most films that Film4 has shown that have the same target audience as us have allowed upcoming actors to advance in the industry. For example, in Attack the Block, the main character John Boyega has been able to take part in documentaries and also take part in other movies. Attack the Block is a perfect example of a film that has been distributed by Film4 that has the same target audience as our film and it addressed them perfectly. I think this because the distributer is British based they were able to advertise the film in the correct places in which the majority of the film’s target audience are. Attack the block’s film premier was done at the Ritzy cinema in Brixton where a lot of the target audience had easy access to the location. Another institution that may be good to distribute our movie is Studio Canal an independent film institution which has recently produced a film similar to ours called “In Fear”. This is because the movie follows a couple young couple who start to learn new things about each other as they go on in the relationship which is similar to our product as the movie focuses on Danny and Sarah relationship. This film, like our media product has few characters around it and the main focus is the couple. I don’t think that our movie would be suitable for distributors such as Warner Bros, Paramount or Sony Pictures as they are big franchises and they distribute heavy funded films such as Fast and Furious. Furthermore, our movie’s target audience are British and therefore all the dialect used and the costumes worn and the characters’ surroundings are one that only Young British adults would understand. As these institutions are more viral and worldwide, I think that they may not be suitable for our movie.
