Minutes of meeting Anathema
- 1. Minutes of Meeting 1- Date: 17/4/17 Location: King Solomon High School, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HB, Room 126 Purpose of Meeting: Make sure progression is up to date (e.g. making sure our Initial Meeting Discussion Points have been addressed within the group, making sure that our schedule is being arranged and that progression on our treatment is being made). For this meeting, we are making sure that our standards and requirements are being targeted and worked on and that we are all still on task to meet those requirements and not fall behind. Members Present: Jack Kilminster, Adam, Mustafa Said, Daniel Finlay Pardons for Absence: N/A Issues raised: Roles: During this meeting, we decided the roles that we will assign ourselves to. These roles include: Director, Co-Director, multiple actors, and Filmers. We have discussed having these roles so that we understand that both as a team and the individual work that are required from us and that so we make sure that we are organised in order for our progress throughout our production is made. These jobs help us recognise exactly what we do, and more than one job can be assigned to one person, so one person may be the Director and also an Actor. Style: The style of the movie we are going to produce is serious, with a dark and twisted edge. Due to the fact that the movie will get darker and deeper as we get into the story, the stories atmosphere will continue to get tenser as we continue. Alongside this, we plan to use effects such as low-key lighting as you never know what’s going to be there around every corner, disturbing the audience further.
- 2. 2- Date: 24/4/17 Location: King Solomon High School, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HB, Room 126 Purpose of Meeting: Completion of the script is nearly done. This is very helpful as it puts us ahead of schedule, and also allows us to have an extremely clear base for the rest of our short-film. This allows us to focus on things such as the storyboard and focus on buying props for the group, as well as much more things which need to be done. Members Present: Jack Kilminster, Adam, Mustafa Said Pardons for Absence: Daniel Finlay Issues raised: Issues that were raised was whether our ending for the script should be kept it as it is, and that then led to us questioning other parts of the script. We also need to hurry our progress for the storyboard, as we have not yet done much of that, and need to get ready to start our site plans, as they also need to be completed. 3- Date: 1/4/17 Location: King Solomon High School, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HB, Room 126 Purpose of Meeting: The purpose of this meeting is to come to a date where we can agree that the storyboard can be finished, as it should be soon, and also when the site plans can be finished. Most of our work is currently finished, including the script, poster, and much more, so there isn’t much left for the group to do so we can be finished. Pardons for Absence: Issues raised: Site plans and cast are the only problems at this point in time, as we still need to complete the site plans for many locations, such as a variety of locations within the forest, the houses that we are going to be heading to, and also the school areas that we shall be using. We also need to get confirmation from all of the people that we will be using in our short film that they will be able to partake and participate within the filming of our film at certain times, dates, and more. 4- Date: 8/5/17 Location: King Solomon High School, Forest Road, Ilford IG6 3HB, Room 126 Purpose of Meeting: The purpose of this meeting is to discuss what we are doing this week, we are in final preparation for our filming which will take place at the end of the week, we will be completing last minute tasks such as notice of filming print outs and our poster print outs in preparation for our short film production Members Present: Jack Kilminster, Adam El-Gharbaoui, Mustafa Said, Daniel Finlay Pardons for Absence: Issues raised: issues that were raised was that, we have to make sure that we have all our equipment, props and costumes for our short film production
