CONTD..
 MPEG is a align of compressions methods
designed for audio and visual data.
 3GP on PC may perhaps be viewed on VLC
media player, RealPlayer, QuickTime, GOM
Player and Media Player Classic.
 File Extension VOB (Video Object) commonly
locate such documents in DVD-Video media.
 File Extension FLV is used to deposit
Macromedia Flash Player collection. It can
assign vector graphics, spill videocassette, audio
and text.
FEATURESOF MULTIMEDIA
Text
Audio
Pictures
Video
Animation
Interactivity
TEXT
 Text is the most widely used and flexible means of
presenting information on screen and conveying ideas.
 In a multimedia application, other media or screen can be
linked through the use of text. This is what you call
Hypertext.
 To produce an effective multimedia program there are
three things that need to be considered. They are:
 The position of the text on the screen.
 Length of the message and
 Legibility of the text.
AUDIO
 Audio refers to sound. Multimedia can include
files which contain sounds.
 Audio songs also come under the heading

in the computer and
• The quality of the video can still be maintained
• The video files can be transferred within a computer
network it allows non- linear editing in any part of the
video
 However, these digital video files are large in size.
Transferring these files can take a long time especially
