My front cover developments
1st Draft

Used the colour scheme of red,
turquoise,
black and white - simple & classy

Layout is plain and simple making it easy
to read but needs more text and the
barcode moving, I also think that the
masthead needs to be made bigger and
the “space” needs filling up.
2nd Draft

I changed the layout so that the main
feature sub line matched with the
image also I changed the layout of the
catch line so it ran down the side of
the tree
I moved the barcode to the bottom
right hand corner and created a catch
line and banner by the masthead
3rd Draft

I made the banner bigger and changed
the catch line so that the magazine
looks more eye catching and appealing
to the intended audience
4th Draft

I used the shape tool to make a
“sticker” type shape on my magazine to
help it stand out as my intended
audience said there was too much
spare space that needed filling
FINAL

I then added an issue number and
added effects such as embossing on my
text and “sticker”
