a great decision they’ve taken. There is a lack of content in vernacular language in India and this

DronStudy has content that the students (and parents) in India want. They’ve started out with
subjected like Physics, Chemistry and Maths for grade 11 and 12 and have penetrated from there.
Being a mechanical engineer, I tied out a few videos and found the quality to be top notch. It was
refreshing how some of the concepts were refreshed going through topics like Centre of Mass.
DronStudy has most of its content in Hindi and this is a great decision they’ve taken. There is a

the available content currently can’t go.
Medium of delivery is important and with the Internet penetration rising along, videos have seen a
big uptake. DronStudy has video content where lectures are interactive and make it easier for the

It started when Sri Sri observed some local children playing in the dust near The Art of Living
Centre. When he saw that they had no access to education he decided to do something to help
them.
A local volunteer was appointed to look after the children to give them basic lessons in hygiene,
teach them educational games and to serve them free healthy food for lunch. This became a big
attraction for the children and their parents, and continues to date. As the school has progressed,
a formal educational structure has been established and the number of students and teachers has

BackOffice is the controlling unit of the system. It is used for maintenance of Items, Item
Groups, Departments and Regions, defining the logical grouping of Items, Report generation, Stock
analysis, User rights, and Customer/Supplier maintenance, Supplier bills, Customer invoices,
Order handling, Label generation, Banking system, Smart card system etc. This back office
consists of 22 modules. BackOffice is the foundation of the Window§hopping product family.
BackOffice is a unique tool for management of both small businesses and big store chains. It
contains all functionality that is required of the market and is always under further development.
This project will use the concepts of workspaces, so the different users can build up their
workspaces according to what they want to do. So for example in one workspace the user might
want to add the item grid window, the customer window and the order window to make a
workspace to generate orders. This concept will be available in both, desktop and web by using a
common database and logic layer, and two different GUI layers. Here drag and drop functionality
is provided. So while creating a order, user don’t need to search for items rather he can drag items
from item register into the order panel. Currently desktop application is in process. Here GUI is
being created using GDI+ provided by visual studio. No .Net controls are used. Components are

drawn onto the canvas using GDI+ classes.
A new web variant of ERP Back office will also be made using Adobe flex. This will also allow
user the same drag drop and workspace based architecture. It will be basically based on widget
based techniques used in I Google.

Description: This has online shopping, discussion, contest facilitates with an online store, which
has a product catalog, shopping cart, customer profile management and order placement
functionalities. The project has been divided into two modules. The modules are Admin and User.
It is a bilingual project, which can be used in English or in Norwegian. Here Web Services are used
for language conversion.
Administrator of the shopping site can manage all the items displayed on the site, can display
them as hot or campaign items, sets discounts on these items, send and receive mails, check
statistics about departments, customers and Items etc. One most important feature of our product
is that of Multiseek. There are some fields in our forms on which we provide multiseek. Multiseek
provides pop window which displays records according to the search criteria that we have entered
in the multiseek field.
A customer can order his/her daily requirements through net. A healthy search has been
provided.
If any user wants to purchase something he/she can pay using either the credit card or cheque.
For that we have integrated our project with third party payment gateway like BBS (Business
Banking System).
Here the project architecture is made as such so, maximum flexibility can be provided for
changing the entire system as per different clients needs, with maximum reuse of already built
methodology. Google maps API is used to give the user facility to select his shop or locations on
the map. Video tutorials and e-learning features are other major features provided. Lightbox,
URLMapping, Barcode and Chatting facilities are the other features used in this project.

Description: The web ordering system is used by shops that are managed by the head office. The
system uses the HO database which is centrally located and under the control of the HO. The
shops have access to the web ordering system through the internet.
There are various methods of item retrieval from the HO database based on various criteria.
There are provisions to look up items belonging to a particular supplier, Items that are on
campaign, new items, items that are sold during a particular period, the item distribution
hierarchy menu etc.
The Ordering system registers orders placed by different shops in the HO database and
transmits either an edi file or email to the supplier of the goods. Edi files are of various formats
and are transferred to the suppliers via ftp. Email orders are sent to suppliers who do not use the
EDI method. Orders once sent to the Suppliers, are then dispatched by the suppliers to the
respective shops. It is also possible to register receipt of goods by the shops and update the stock
information of the items received.
Other variants of the System include:
1. Registering receipt of goods from an EDI file sent from the suppliers to the shops. Provision
to pick up items using a PDA/CPT device and register the quantity of items received.
2. HO as the central distributor of stock and Ordering. Here the HO will place orders on
behalf of the shops and the delivery of goods is done to the HO and from there the HO
distributes the stock to the shops. In this case the HO actually acts as a middle man
between the supplier and the shops.
3. Stock checking, and item Price changes made by suppliers. It is also possible to update the
price of items that have changed by the supplier. There is also provision to do manual
stock updates of individual items.
