INTRODUCTION
 a world largest multinational food and drink company
 It was founded by Henri Nestle and brothers in 1989
 merge with Anglo-Swiss Milk Company in 1905.
 Its main products include baby food, medical food, bottled water, breakfast
cereals, coffee and tea, dairy products, ice cream, frozen food, pet foods,
 29 of Nestlé’s brands have annual sales of over 1 billion Swiss
 Its main products including Nespresso, Nescafé, KitKat, Smarties,
Nesquick,Stouffer’s,Vittel and Maggi.
 Nestlé has around 450 factories, operates in 86 countries, and employs around
328,000 people.
 Its operations mainly divided in to continents of the world as Africa,
Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe

 Nestlé’s objective is to consolidate and strengthen its leading position at the
cutting edge of innovation in the food area to meet the needs and desires of
customers around the world, for pleasure, convenience, health and well

NESTLE PAKISTAN
In Pakistan its headquartered in Lahore
There are four production factories in Sheikupura, kabirwala Karachi and
Islamabad.
Nestle starts it operations in Pakistan since 1988 under a joint venture with Milk
Pack ltd.
Nestle Pakistan having significantly placed in top companies of Pakistan Stock
Exchange.
INVENTORY SYSTEM
 In any business or organization, all functions are interlinked and connected to
each other and are often overlapping.
 Some key aspects like supply chain management,
 logistics and inventory form the backbone of the business delivery function.
 Therefore these functions are extremely important to marketing managers as
well as finance controllers.
INVENTORY SYSTEM OF MILK PACK
 We choose Nestle Milk Pack for inventory management report among 1000

RAW MATERIAL
 A small farmer in rural milks his buffaloes twice a day and take about 4 liter
to one of nestles 500 village milk collection.
 At the village milk collection centers the milk is ported into aluminum churns.
 The agents checks the milk freshness and purity and enters in to farmer’s
logbook.
 He takes it to one of the Nestle secondary in to reception and cooling centers.
WORK IN PROCESS
 The secondary reception station has a large electrically powered cooling a
milk inspector measure the fat content, the known fats solids content, and
the milks acidity.
 Once satisfied he takes the milk to one of main receptions and cooling
stations.
 At the main reception and the cooling stations the milk is poured into huge
tanks and is thoroughly checked for quality then the milk is dispatched to the
factories.
FINISHED GOODS
 Milk is processed and then packed in your familier nestle packing and easily
available at stores retailer etc.
 The nestle milk is checked thrice before the final product is ready for the end
users or before finnalising the finished product.
 Some is processed into yogurt,powder milk or other dairy products..
