The New Iki Project, running from 2013 to 2017, aims to support the Indian government in developing a national framework for Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs). Key activities include establishing a NAMA coordination cell, identifying potential NAMAs from existing policies, and focusing on climate change mitigation missions within India's national action plan. Implemented by GIZ and the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, the project emphasizes sustainable development and guidance for NAMA submissions.
