Today’s tutorial
Your project for A2 will focus on various topics related to
entrepreneurship, business, and leadership
With that in mind, , I've put together a workshop where we'll skip
the words and use some drawing exercises to help you clearly
identify an issue and map out a solution.
Exercise 1: Turning drawing into innovative
and creative ideas
Feel
Inspire
Identify
Reflect
Ideate
Define
Check and feedback
Exercise 2: The Unlikely bright idea
•Example Combo: Remote Work + A Bicycle
•Example Bright Idea: A subscription service that
delivers pre-packed, ergonomic desk setups
(including a portable treadmill desk) on a bicycle
courier to temporary work sites or Airbnbs. It
promotes active remote work.
The Business Context The Random Object
Remote Work A Telescope
Team Leadership A Rubber Band
E-Commerce A Bicycle
Data Security A Library
Accountability A Sandwich
Forced association
Exercise 2: The Unlikely bright idea
Select one concept from List A and one from
List B. Force these two unrelated concepts/
words to generate a new, viable business or
leadership idea. The idea can be crazy, but it
absolutely must solve a real problem!

Important: From Mind Map
to Disruptive Solution &
Leadership Strategy
• For this project, you'll be starting with
the Mind Maps you created for
Assessment 1. Use those maps to
pinpoint a clear problem or issue that
your group wants to tackle
• Your solution MUST be expanded
significantly—it needs to go far beyond
simple fixes to genuinely warrant being
called innovative and creative.
Exercise 3: Creative
Mashup Time!
• In your groups, apply the Forced
Association technique, take the
problem you identified in your Mind
Maps. Now, intentionally combine and
mash up those problems and add
external concepts to generate a wide
range of creative solutions.
Example
• Using the evaluation criteria, review and assess the following

Project Format
• Any genre can be selected
• Sketch
• Interview
• Scenario
• News report
• Animation, etc
• You should not present a PowerPoint deck of
slides as your production.
Key focus areas
•Data Verification: Ensure all the data and assumptions supporting your
problem statement are accurate and verified
•Craft a Clear Narrative: Clearly articulate both the Problem you are
solving and the Solution you are proposing. Make the connection
between those two
•Refine Your Idea & Be Bold: Push past simple fixes. This is the time to
go for the ambitious "moon shot!" Don't hesitate to propose genuinely
bold and innovative solutions that disrupt the status quo.

consultation session this Wednesday at 3:00 PM.
