This two-day course aims to prepare participants to conduct internal audits of occupational health and safety management systems according to the OHSAS 18001 standard. Through presentations, workshops, and role plays, participants will learn about the OHSAS 18001 standard and how to plan, perform, and report audits and verify corrective actions. The course is intended for those using or implementing internal auditing and OHS management systems. Attendees should have a basic knowledge of the OHSAS 18001 standard prior to the course. Upon completion, participants will be able to plan and conduct internal audits to evaluate the implementation of an organization's OHS system.

The course ends with a test. Certificates are issued to participants. Schedule : 0900 to 1730 Hrs. (Both days). Who Should Attend ? This course will benefit anyone using internal audit as a part of the check and improvement process and also those who are responsible for implementing OH&S Management System in accordance with OHSAS 18001 standard in their company. Basic knowledge of the standard will enhance the learning process. Two Days The purpose of this course is to prepare the participants for undertaking Internal Audits of the established OH&S Management Systems to OHSAS 18001 Standard. It is expected that the participants who attend this course would already have sufficient knowledge of Standard. The participants would be able to : • understand the application of OH&S Management Systems, • understand the importance of internal auditing within OH&S, • understand the responsibilities of OH&S internal auditors, • collect and analyze evidence, exercising objectivity, • evaluate and report the results of an internal audit, • plan, organize and conduct an internal audit to check the implementation efficiency of OH&S.
