PeaSoup is a cloud services provider established in 2014 that offers infrastructure as a service, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and backup and disaster recovery services from their cloud which was designed for high performance and reliability. They won the EuroCloud UK Award for best cloud service provided by a start-up in 2015. PeaSoup aims to simplify cloud computing and provide affordable cloud solutions for businesses.

- #4: So Pea Soup started in 2014 and so far we have had a great journey! We are founded on the basis of VSAN that was released last year. We could see the potential that VSAN delivers for cloud providers. We had to make sure that we are doing the right thing so we took a slow approach of going to market. We spend the first few months with due dilligence, testing, checking and double check. I’ve used many resources to make sure I had the right hardware. Great resources to visit before you start your VSAN journey are yellow brick (Duncan Epping), Cormac Hogan blog, and William Lam blog.. These guys provide a lot of very good content! Also I absolutely recommend to buy Duncan and Cormac’s Book Essential Virtual SAN. In the summer we build our cloud plaform and onboarded a media ISV customer that ingest raw video data and converts it to mobile video date before sending it of to the distribution channels… this is very IO intensive customer and we have no issues what so ever, the are happy with the performance and services provided. In the last part of the year, we are concentrating on simplifying our platform, we’re testing a new portal solution at the moment.
