- 1. Peter Smith – Evaluation Part 4How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
- 2. In this final section of my coursework I will be looking at how I used technology to aid me in the creation of my products
- 3. I used a High Definition camera and High power Cameras when shooting my music video.These two pieces of intelligent technology that has been developed over the years, has been highly important in my coursework as it allowed my to record high quality and clear video sequences.HD and High Power Cameras
- 4. Final Cut Express HDThis piece of software has been vital in bringing to together each recorded video sequence and merging them into one whole sequence.Also it allowed me to develop different shots and change the colour saturation in some shots so that each would look consistent and real.I was also able to put in different shot transitions that helped in creating the professional effect.
- 5. Again this piece of software was extremely helpful to me when it came to creating my magazine advert and Digipak covers.Through the use of this I was able to convert and cut and enhance and change aspects of the images that I had taken.I was also able to crop and merge texts onto the chosen images to get my information across to my target audience.Adobe Photoshop 4

This really came into its own during the evaluation stage of my coursework as it allowed me to put onto the screen the PowerPoint presentation that I had created to use and demonstrate my audience feedback.This allowed me to create a presentation that was precise and clear and kept my audience interested.Green Screen
- 7. Through the use of this machine I was able to record different shots at different angles and heights.Teleporter

The use of the smoke machine allowed me to create a high tech and mysterious effect when shooting the band shots.Also I was able to mirror my artists style of music videos as he has used smoke machines and equipment too.Thanks to the help of laser lighting and other LED spiral lights I was able to create different lighting effects and highlight areas in my video which I would not have been able to without them.Smoke Machine and Lighting Effects

Through this new type of technology I have been able to keep my A-Level Coursework safely stored on a internet based website.I was able to keep a record of my deadlines my tasks and my aims.I was also able to keep up to date with my coursework and complete any outstanding work wherever I was as long as I had internet connection.Blog

To sum up then, the new technology of the present age that I live in has been extremely helpful in creating 3 successful and yet different products.I feel I have used it in a creative and strong way and thus have seen good results.There is no question about it that without the technology I have used for my projects the standard and the quality would have never been as anywhere near as good as it is today.Conclusion
