Rosetta Eun Ryong Lee from Seattle Girls' School gave a presentation on increasing inclusivity in mathematics classrooms. The presentation covered cultural competency, dimensions of identity, experiences across differences, and ways to make students feel seen, heard, treated fairly, and protected. It provided reflection questions and examples of practices to incorporate representation, student choice, clear expectations, and understanding of differences. The goal was to stretch inclusive boundaries and engagement of all students.
