What is a phrasal verb??
• A phrasal verb is a verb followed by a preposition or
an adverb.
• Verb - action word - - look put, etc..
• Preposition - relates subject with an object
Eg: in, out, on, after etc.
The verb and preposition are written together
but the meaning is entirely different in the
sentence.
take out – to remove something from a place
1. The dentist has to take out this tooth.
2. We took out our lunch boxes from rack.

V. Look the other way : not notice on purpose / ignore
intentionally.

Minu can't just look the other way if she knows that
he's stealing her things.
