  As apart ofour media product that we are assigned to create at A2 media, we have to also create a poster that advertises our short film. By looking at other posters of films and using our own creative skills we are starting to come up with a good outline plan for our film poster. The main image – The main image of the poster will be in the centre, this is an image of our main character Mia. This image is great for being in the centre of the poster as she is the main character and the other images of the other characters surround her. The other four images – The other four mages surrounding the main image are of the four boys that the main character goes on dates with. We decided to surround the main character with the boys due to them not being as a main characters as she is but also because the dates play on in her head which we see in the film due to the flashbacks. These images will also have a blur effect around them which also makes them look at though they are a thought/memory of the girl. The Title and The Background– The title is placed just below the main character, it is a bright white colour and is bold to stand out and grab the audiences attention. We have made the title while as the background is black, the title will also stand out a lot better too if the background is black. We chose a simple black background as we are adding quite a number of images to the poster and also because of the text we are putting on the poster, the text is a light/bright colour on a dark background it will stand out more. Slogan – We have noticed that a lot of films seems to have a slogan to go with it so we have decided to do this too. Production company – We are putting our production company name at the bottom of the poster as we have seen this done on other film posters.
