 Worked with Indian Railways from 1984-2010. During this period received ‘Best Worker in Family Welfare’

 Took charge of a Laboratory attached to a 100 bedded Railway Hospital at Bilaspur Chhattisgarh in 2000.
Rebuilt it from a basic 457 ft2 lab to a modern 1,170 ft2 Lab with ‘Outstanding Quality Certificate’ by Bio-
rad Laboratories of California under EQAS for consecutive 4 years (July 2005-June 2009).
 During this period the lab started a DMC (Designated Microscopy Center) under RNTCP in 2002 and
undertook National Sentinel Surveillance for HIV.
 Responsible for establishing a Tele-Medicine Center at Railway Hospital, Bilaspur (CG) connecting three
distant Hospitals of SEC Railway; Bilaspur, Raipur & Nagpur.

Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi, and a WHO fellow in “HIV/AIDS Surveillance & Awareness” in 2004.

(Intermediate Reference Laboratories in TB) and support Training & Accreditation of TB Labs under RNTCP.
 Subsequently, worked as the Project Manager & Technology Officer in FIND-India at New Delhi from May
2013 to June 2015. During this, provided overall technical management of FIND (India) projects under
EXPAND TB and Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM). Managed inter-institutional
coordination, procurement, laboratory assessment, support Bio safety and Quality Assurance systems.
Responsible for recommendations on current challenges in TB laboratory services in India, international
networking of TB lab services, conduct regular Project Management meetings and ensure full conformity of
all activities with international standards.
 Instrumental in managing stakeholders, maintaining key relations with Funders, National Program
Managers, Partners and other Beneficiaries by acquiring feedback on critical issues and taking suitable
