Course Project
Jeff Potts / Chef Certificate Program
GOAL: To become a Certified Chef and fulfill a promise to myself and my
family.
My Favorite Week
‱ My favorite week was week Two.
‱ It was very interesting to me how much time I was considering urgent
‱ It was also very rewarding to see that I am not using my time unwisely
‱ It was very interesting to see that I had been doing it right at work.
‱ It showed me that I can do it for school as well.
My favorite discussion was Multitasking
‱ I gave examples on how I used to study way back in my early days as a
student.
‱ I wanted to share my experiences and what helped me be successful
‱ I also liked how others used their time studying and particularly made
studying into a song. I thought that was extremely creative.
‱ I will use, and have used, my method of listening to Classical Music to
help keep me focused and free of distractions.
‱ I will always use the newly discovered senses to learn and retain what
I have studied and learned, now and forever.
What I Hope To Learn About More Is
Retention!!
‱ I hope I learn to retain more of what I learn so that I can be the best I
can be.
‱ I hope that I get the naps I need and proper sleep to aide in retention.
‱ I know that repetition is the MAIN thing in retention.
‱ The more I practice, the longer the learning will stay with me.
‱ I have learned that I have a long way to go.
‱ I have learned that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
‱ I have learned that you can teach old tricks to a new dog.
‱ I have learned to silence the inner critic and be more positive.
‱ I have learned that I AM a better learner than I had ever imagined.
‱ I have learned that I am ME, and I am far better off than I ever
imagined I would be after this course.
I hope to become a Chef. Who will be there with me? Me. This is for me, as well as fulfilling a promise to myself and
my family. My life would look like the previous picture. A combination of Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay. Simple,
Amazing food with a touch of elegance.
