INTRODUCTION This presentation aims to show the findings from a questionnaire titled ‘Do you play GTA V?’ We did the questionnaire to find quantitative and qualitative research in order to find out what type of people play GTA V. We found that the paper survey done in college gave results that were similar to each other (everyone in college lives in the north west of Britain), whereas on the computerized survey we got a more diverse collection of answers. From this we have learned that surveys done on a computer are likely to give a more accurate description of the types of people who play GTA V.

- 13. CONCLUSION After we had collated all of our surveys, we have found that GTA5 is a very definite cross-sex appeal game, as many male and female people play it. They all enjoy different aspects, like the heists, multiplayer and story development. Our surveys and research break the mystery of gaming being a niche market for majority male, as there are a lot more female gamers in this day and age, as games have appeal to most people. We believe that GTA5 is so widely appealing as it gives you the chance to be ‘bad’ on a game, without repercussions in the real world. People believe it to be a break from the norm, and GTA5 does just that, especially with the fact that the game is so open, as a lot of people in the survey’s said that their favourite features of the game were the free roaming, the driving and the exploration. Even then the game isn’t perfect, as people have a strong opinion on how to make the game better. For example, people said in the qualitative surveys that they would like more cars and weapons, as well as more heists and single player missions. When it comes to it, you can also evaluate the sheer amount the game made. GTA5 was a definite block buster, the game cost £170 million to create and market, but it made all of that money back in pre-orders alone! The game was at such a demand, a year later they are working on Expansions, DLC, and even PC/XB1/PS4 versions of the game. -Gordon, Taylor, and Adam
