  Sub-genre Thriller is asub- genre that revolves around anticipation and suspense. The aim for Thrillers is to keep the audience alert and on the edge of their seats. The protagonist in these films is set against a problem – an escape, a mission, or a mystery. No matter what sub-genre a Thriller film falls into, it will emphasize the danger that the protagonist faces. The tension with the main problem is built on throughout the film and leads to a highly stressful climax.

  Antagonist & protagonist •The antagonist will be one particular blonde, innocent (virgin, does not take drugs) out of the four teenage girls. • The protagonist will be an middle aged man, who's identity changes throughout; pizza delivery man with hat to a masked killer.

  Films that haveinfluenced the idea • When researching different thriller films I cam across four which I took ideas from; ‘Prom night’, You’re next’, ‘Final girl and ‘Would you rather’. They are all quite modern; 2000’s. • All fours films have similar aspects where the antagonist are chased and tortured, however some have twists to make the story more interesting, which I hope to succeed. • The idea of having a masked killer was from the film ‘You’re next’ • Being chased through the woods was from ‘Final girl’. Four male killers chase one girl, however I wanted to keep it original by having one male killer as it is more threating if the teenage girls are afraid of him.

  ‘Prom night’ • ‘Finalgirl’; blonde teenager. • Protagonist; middle aged man, teacher, new hidden identity. • Icons; knife. • Locations; under bed, house, wardrobe, mirror, prom hall, elevator, abandoned basement area. • Events of murders; killer finally unwraveled.

  5 key scenesin trailer • Four teenage girls drinking, while parents are out. See the man delivering but not his face. • Them passed out and then the girl running up the stairs, under the bed. • Four girls chained up in an abandon warehouse; coming round from the drugs that affected them. • A game they played, where one has to choose either to shock themselves or friend. • One girl running through the woods being chased by a masked male with an axe.

  Locations & Costumes •House; conservatory, bedroom • Warehouse/ abandoned place; chained up and tormented. • Woods; chased with a weapon. • Mask, baseball hat, axe. • Sleeping dresses, blood.
