What should I bring to class? An Agriculture  only  3 ring binder with loose-leaf paper and five dividers At least two pens/pencils Open Mind Homework  if you had any
Will I have homework? Yes – check it out on the board, class webpage or twitter (http://twitter.com/NBCMiddleAg) Homework will be due at the  beginning  of class ( online discussions are due by 11:59 pm ) & must be placed in the bin for the appropriate period on the shelf near the windows.  Five points per day deducted for lateness.
What if I miss class? Yes, this includes for team activities Check out the class webpage and look in the brown “Missing Work” folder by the sink.  Any handouts will be organized by last name. If you missed a quiz, test, project or lab,  it is your responsibility  to schedule a make-up. If you missed notes, borrow from a classmate. Still unsure?  See Miss McLean!

Do Now – 10% These daily assignments will go before the 1 st  divider of your notebook, unless otherwise indicated Major Assessments/ Quizzes – 20% Most major assessments will be projects that summarize a unit of study.  Quizzes may be a surprise.  Assessments and quizzes will be based on handouts, notes, class discussions and homework.
How will I be graded? (cont.) Homework – 25% This mainly includes the online class discussions and Agriculture Article Reviews Labs and Projects – 25% Classwork/ Participation – 20%

Entering the room Please enter quietly with all your materials Go to your assigned seat Check the “Overview”  Take out your materials Begin “Do Now” (Note:  If you have to pick something up it will be on the desk below the plan)
When you are tardy Enter quietly Have pass? Place it on the desk below the “Overview”.  Take your seat and get to work. No pass? Take your seat and get to work.  I’ll catch up with you. Note:  3 rd  unexcused late = DETENTION
While I am teaching Listen with full attention Raise your hand if you have a comment Avoid talking, sharpening pencils, doing homework
Classroom Discussions PLEASE participate I  want  to hear what you have to say Make all questions and  comments  relevant  to the  current discussion If your question is off the topic,  write it down and ask later.
