About Us:
De Pedagogics is engaged in nurturing education and bringing learning closer
to the learner. We work with schools and organizations to design and develop
curriculum content, CBSE accreditation and affiliation guidance, training
materials, training modules, teaching aids, technology integration and training
and manage all aspects of curriculum development programs to include, but
not limited to: teaching skills, subject-specific trainings, CCE capacity building,
creating inquiry based learning environments and new technology in
education.
De Pedagogics has a broad network with educationists who specialize in varied
domains and offer guidance and mentorship to meet the needs of the school.

Education Evangelist Meenakshi Uberoi, the founding director of De Pedagogics, is passionately involved in
coaching, teaching and learning. She designs curriculum and trains educators to equip and assist teachers in creating
innovative, challenging and enriching classroom environments that are conducive to students becoming life-long learners.
She is a columnist for ‘What’s Fresh’, the official blog for Microsoft’s Educator Network (MSEN). Meenakshi has been
recognized as the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert 2015 and 2005 Microsoft Innovative Teacher Award for effective
integration of technology and innovative lesson design. She believes that it is imperative to innovate, create and integrate to
succeed in a rapidly changing world of education and that innovation and the ability to collaborate is an investment in the
future where technology provides the tools for us to meet the 21st century goals. Her focus lies in addressing the diverse
interest and abilities of the students by presenting information in a variety of ways using technology as a vehicle and
emphasizing relevance of class material to the world beyond the classroom.
Jyoti Chaba, the c0-founder of De Pedagogics, is passionate about education she loves to find innovative ways to
reach out to students and educators both. A globetrotter, she has lived in many cities across the world like Tokyo,
Cairo, Dubai and Shanghai. A firm believer in being an agent of change in the field of education; has always strived to
evolve wherever she has found herself. She has had varied experiences from working as a graphic designer, being a full
time teacher to editing an expat magazine. Her main strength lies in progressive work in project based learning
programs and fostering 21st century learning skills for both students and educators making their learning adventurous
and delightful. A teacher first, she passionate about technology in education and is a gadget enthusiast and a fitness
freak. She firmly believes in giving back to the society especially for the girl child in whatever way possible and has
been regularly involved in volunteering at local schools.
Minakshi Ahlawat -co-founder of De Pedagogics, has a passion for creating learning experiences
that go beyond the walls of school. She works with teachers to train, support, coach, and encourage
dynamic growth in 21st century learning to prepare students for their futures. She believes that the crucial
development in the early years will have greater impact on student’s future overall development in
becoming a well-being person. Being a language expert she designs language learning environment that
ensure fostering of language skills such as writing and communicating in real-life with others. For her,
knowledge construction, collaboration, creativity, communication and problem -solving are some of the
essentials for designing a learning activity to increase motivation of students.

Curriculum Development
With the belief that curriculum development is a key process in
determining the quality of learning and teaching, I have been leading
the process of curriculum development at Pathways World School as a
Coordinator and now at The Heritage School-Gurgaon as a Visiting Consultant.
The main purpose of the process is to translate broad statements of intent(IB
PYP at Pathways World School and CBSE Accreditation, CBSE affiliation,
CBSE CCE implementation & CCSS ELA) into specific plans and actions.

traditional perspectives. This technique adds depth to the planning
process by ensuring that all possibilities are explored and is a good

This enriching and practical workshop on Thinker’s keys will provide
educators an insight into ways of enhancing the intellectual quality of
everyday lessons. Practical strategies for promoting higher order

This workshop aims at introducing this popular analytic
model and providing teachers with classroom practices to
help students identify quality in writing, manage their own
writing process, practice effective revision and editing, and
become confident writers.

This workshop familiarizes the strategies that help students
learn how to coordinate reading and comprehending text by
using a set of key comprehension techniques before, during,
and after they read a variety of texts. Teachers are
introduced to a variety of tools to help students learn to ask

Transforming Education with Technology
We at The Pedagogics, would like to bring to you Microsoft’s Educator Network, a global community of educators dedicated to improving student
learning worldwide (no cost involved). The network offers free learning material, ICT tools, collaboration platform and professional development
opportunities for educators and schools.

Deep Thinking for Deep Learning: This session is designed for
school leaders and teachers who are striving to develop learning experiences
that go beyond the surface and identify a framework for deep learning
competencies. For long now, educators have strived to develop learning
experiences that go beyond surface learning and help students to develop
connections to learning at a level that demonstrates deep understanding,
application and an awareness of the interconnectedness of learning concepts.
The workshop focusses on exploring& discussing thought processes and
pedagogies for Deep Learning that engages students to develop skills to be
lifelong learners; creative, connected and collaborative problem solvers.
Rethinking strategies for 21st Century Learning
Design: The workshop aims at understanding Learning Strategies
of the 21st Century Learner and preparing the teachers to be
effective 21st century educators. We will talk about the changing
landscape in education and define roadmap to best fit the needs of
the 21st century educator and learners. The workshop explores
strategies to aid and rethink pedagogical approaches and learning
goals and focusses on how educators can design and practice
teaching and learning that lead to more successful futures for all
students.
Flipped classroom: Flipped learning is a model of teaching in
which the more passive learning activities such as watching lectures,
happen outside of the classroom, saving more in-person class time
for interactive activities. Flipping the classroom essentially entails a
shift from teacher-centred classroom teaching to student-led
learning processes. In this workshop, we will explore different
flipped design models and the educational benefits of the flipped
design. The educators will gain a deeper understanding of how to
implement this strategy into their own teaching and approaches to
create and deliver flipped class content.
Making Thinking Visible: During this workshop, we will focus on the
practical and concrete ways educators can create a culture of thinking in
schools and classrooms, foster the kinds of thinking opportunities that lead
students to learn well and develop understanding of content, and how to look
for evidence of student thinking and understanding. Participants will be
introduced to a variety of thinking routines: what they are and how they can be
used to create more thoughtful classrooms and create cultures of thinking that
actively engage students in thinking on an ongoing basis understanding.
TPACK: Teaching with Technology: The workshop model
uses four specific types of professional development experiences to
promote teaching with technology, rather than teaching the
technology, with the goal that teachers leave the workshop being
able to understand how to integrate one tech-enhanced activity into
their own daily instructional practices. The session entails
developing a hands-on understanding of TPACK (Technology
Pedagogy And Content Knowledge) and explores real ways to
genuinely integrate ICT with content and pedagogy.
