This document provides an overview of various sensors used in the pulp and paper industry. It describes sensors that monitor temperature, pressure, flow, level, and composition. For each sensor type, it highlights common problems in pulp and paper processes, why the sensor is used, and the benefits it provides (e.g. accuracy, stability, low maintenance). Sensors are used to control consistency, conductivity, pH, flow rates, pressure, temperature at various stages of pulp and paper production.
