  Q6. What haveyou learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
• 2.
  Apple Mac • Ihave learnt how to use their operating system for example how to print screen parts of my video which is “grab “ on a Mac . • I also learnt How to save my edited film to the apple mac and clips I needed from YouTube.
• 3.
  I Phone • Idownloaded the blogger app onto my phone so when I took pictures of my group filming I can upload them straight away instead of putting the pictures from my phone onto the computer then going onto the internet to place them on my blog. This made it faster for our group. • I also used the I phone to research thriller films while we were filming . This gave me instant access to information and helped us improve our opening shots whilst filming.

  HD Camcorder • Ihave learnt how to use a camcorder which is not the same as recording on a normal picture camera, it has superior pixel quality which gave our final film a clear, sharp finish . This helped us gain marks towards construction section. • I also learnt that you can play back the clips you just recorded on the flip out screen on the side. This was useful to our group as we needed to record each section a few times, we could see on the clip where we had gone wrong for example, In the beginning of the film the daughter kept laughing which looked awful when we played it back so we were able to quickly re shoot.

  Internet (Google) • HereI learnt how useful the internet is for research, for example, finding out about distribution companies was easier and quicker on line, researching age certificates for thrillers and the generic conventions to a thriller movie were helped by the internet. In general all my research and planning was made quicker and easier through using the internet but in particular it helped me to answer the generic convention question in the evaluation section.

  Blogger • I leanthow to make a blog and how blogger is used. I also learnt how to embed pictures, videos, power points from Google and other sources to my blog , this helped me make my blog exciting for example having prezzys and voice recordings to answer some evaluation questions.
• 7.
  You tube • Ilearnt how to upload my final film and my draft films onto YouTube which made it easier to embed onto my blog.
• 8.
  Final Cut Pro •I learnt how to edit my final film and also my preliminary task, how to add titles to my film for example errie red thriller titles, add music and sound to our shoot and also how to fade my titles in and out to create a better video.
• 9.
  Conclusion • I havelearnt a number of skills through using different technologies. I now understand the technical processes involved in constructing a film . Modern technology has made it possible for novices/amateurs to produce some decent quality productions. I now have an appreciation of the creative possibilities open to everyone not just professionals.
