  Q6 What have youlearnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

  TECHNOLOGIES Throughout the processof making my magazine I have used two main pieces of software. These are; 1. Photoshop 2. In-Design • As the name suggests Photoshop is a photo editing software. • In-Design is a publishing software so it enable you to plan, layout and organize your magazine I have also used a variety of different media technologies such as Blogger, Prezi, Slide share and PowToon.   PHOTOSHOP Initially this whatthe photo looked like. I decided to increase the brightness and contrast of the photo so it is brighter but not so it is over exposed. Here is the finished version. As you can see it is brighter.

  • I alsochanged the background of my photo by using the easer tool to delete the background. I then went to open and opened the image I wanted and placed it behind the image.

  INDESIGN Drop cap • WhenI started to write the body of the double page spread I placed a drop cap on the first letter of the first word using the drop cap tool. Image • Before I began anything I placed this rectangle across the whole of the page. This is so I could place an image behind the text.

  BLOGGER I had neverused blogger before. At the beginning it was hard to use but the more you use it the easier it became to use. Blogger is the fundamental tool because everything I did was uploaded onto the blog. Blogger helped me to organise my work and helped me to place it in chronological order.
• 7.
  PREZI Prezi is anonline presentation software. It allowed me to make my work more fun by presenting it in an animated presentation. The templated were ready made so I was able to just choose which template I wanted.
