1) In what ways does your
    media product use,
develop or challenge forms
 and conventions of a real
      media product?
The masthead
When researching the masthead I found
that many of them were short such as Q
and MNE music magazines. So I decided
to use the same tequinique. However I
have developed my masthead to match the
genre of my magazine as well as adding a
                  byline.
The colour
     scheme
The general rules when creating a music
magazine is to use a 3 colour, colour which I did
for the front cover, contence page as well as the
headline and back ground on the DPS. However
when writing my gig review for the DPS I chose to
use a black font as the magazine I was using
                   (NME) did this.
Style of
   photography
The main image on the front cover and all the images
on the DPS are gig photos. This is a little different
many other music magazines as they are not profianal,
clear or lit correctly however I have had to challenge
to this as I really wanted a celebrity icon with in the
gonra on the cover. As well as someone how relates
to the age of the audience that would read my
magazine. However I have tried to make the photos
look as good as possible by editing them in both paint
shop pro as well as the editing stage on instagram.
Fonts
I have used this font through out my
magazine for a sences on continuity. Hover
the size of my text has changed of different
pages and for different things. For example of
I have developed the font for the head line on
my DPs to make it bold and stand out more.
Also the colour of my font represents that of
               my clour scheme.
