- 1. Looking back atyour preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

- 3. Prelim- Front Page •As you can see from my prelim to final product of my front page I didn’t have a very high skill set, I didn’t know how to take a professional picture and edit it. • The prelim image is set on a boring background and doesn’t look like a real magazine. • Also, on my prelim I haven't used many key conventions that the magazine should have so it doesn’t look professional.
- 4. Final- Front Cover •As you can see from the change my final media product is a lot more improved than the prelim. The main image is very different, they are professionally taken using the correct equipment. • I have also edited the pictures on good software and after lots of practice I have got a lot of images that would possibly be used from my main images. • I used tools like the magic wand tool which helps cut out your images, also the stop healing tool on Photoshop with gets rid of any blemishes that are on the photo. • I have used a plain grey background because it links in with the colour scheme and gives the magazine a professional look.

- 6. Prelim- Front Cover •In my prelim I wasn’t sure of the conventions that would be used on a contents page. • There is also no synergy between the two pages, the audience would not know that the two pages where from the same magazine. • Also, the colour scheme which has been used on my contents page is very plain and dull, this would not attract the readers as the colour don’t stand out.
- 7. Final- Contents Page •As you can see the change between my prelim and actual contents page, there is a lot of improvement. I have learnt how to set out the page so it is easy for the readers to read. • Also, there is a lot of synergy between my front page and contents, this is mainly down to the colour scheme is the same throughout and the same style of pictures have been used. This allows the target audience relate to the magazine, which is a key thing for a magazine to do. • Overall, the quality of my work has improve and it is now professional looking.
