Introduction
 In this article, we will introduce in the indigenous people of
the beautiful island of Rapa Nui, with their customs, tastes ,
crafts and traditions that characterize the typical and
important of Rapa Nui.
Typical meals of Rapa Nui
 The traditional preparation is Umu curanto Rapa Nui or Easter Island , which is
cooked in a hole in the ground with stones and burning red hot, just as it did
hundreds of years ago. The hot stones are covered with banana leaves on which
meat , poultry and fish is placed and re- cover it with leaves and stones. A second
