  The development ofthe information literacy skills curriculum in the<br />Sultanate of Oman<br />Dr. May Moore<br />As a matter of fact, education is considered as the main factors which contribute in the revolution of the information in each country .Many countries focus on the educational process and its development in order to build the new generation of its youth. So, that, there is a glorious interest and focus in the educational process and the curriculum in those countries. .The teachers are asked to expand students' knowledge and enhance their learning. In every lesson they aim to achieve the goals and objective of the lesson. <br />Actually, there are many aims that should be achieved at the end of each lesson. Besides, the students have the opportunity to have CD and activities books in order to expand the information and enhance their learning process.<br />Added that, there is database, reviews and course outline to establish the objective of the course and identify the aims of the learning.<br /> Actually, the staff plays a vital role in facilitating the learning process. These advanced staffs are professional on giving the students the chance to deal with the hard and soft instruments so that students will gain the skills rabidly. Moreover, the performance of the students will improve positively and gradually under the impact of this trained staff. Actually, the most glorious influence of this staff is to encourage those students to be more inventive and inspired in this side of educational process. In fact, this staff will be responsible to expand students' knowledge and to prepare them to the future in order to build their country.<br />Some skills and abilities should be improved in those students like critical thinking, brainstorming, doing survey and interview added that, those staff will contribute in assessing the curriculum and evaluating the objective of the course. They will focus on the aims of the curriculum and whether they are achieved or not.
