  Are you maleor female? I asked this question so that I knew whether I had an even split between both male and female results. This was important to me as my target audience is both genres, therefore I needed opinions from both to gain accurate results.

  Do you alreadyread a music magazine? The reason I included this question on my questionnaire was so that I knew I was gaining information from the correct group of people. These people being my target audience. I needed to know that the information I was receiving was relevant and accurate so that I could produce my media products based on correct results.

I asked this question so that I knew whether the information I received was based upon knowledge of existing magazines or whether it is purely opinion of my target audience. Which then benefits me as I then know whether the results will help me follow the codes and conventions of real media products or whether they wont.

This would then benefit me as I know what kind of features to include in my own magazine to make it appealing to my target audience.

It will help with this decision because I can then price it accordingly to what my target audience is willing to pay and thinks is a reasonable price.

This is because I will then have an idea of what type of language will make a reader aware of the genre of magazine straight away, which is key to a successful publication. This is the reason I included this question.

So that I can produce my magazine making sure that it fits with what portrays the genre to my target audience. The results of this question will help me massively in deciding the colour scheme for my publication.

  What would youlike to see included in the content? This question was asked so that I can base my feature articles and regular content around the types of articles my target audience would wish to read. This helps me in making my magazine more appealing to the audience I wish it to appeal to.
